Acoustic Technician Role Profile Here is an exciting opportunity for a college leaver looking to enter the working world instead of university. This client offers study support for an engineering diploma in acoustic engineering with hands-on training and development.&nbsp;
LOCATION: Manchester City Centre Base UK &amp; European Travel (driving License required)&nbsp;
JOB DESCRIPTION:&nbsp;
The duties for the Acoustics Technician opportunity&nbsp; &bull;Reviewing acoustic theory / UK standards associated with acoustics &bull;Organising noise/vibration surveys - communicating with clients over email &bull;Visiting sites to install noise meters (train travel/driving) &bull;Writing noise reports &bull;Constructing calculation templates in Excel &bull;Research projects (absorption materials/acoustic enclosures)
Once the Acoustics technician has started their training, they will: &bull;Meet clients/visit sites &bull;Write technical reports/proposals &bull;Undertake own research projects &bull;Invoice clients for work undertaken&nbsp; &bull;Undertake sound insulation tests at sites (airborne and impact) &bull;Generate new work
The Acoustics Technician will ideally have:&nbsp; &bull;A-Levels in Physics&nbsp; &bull;A-Levels in Mathematics&nbsp; &bull;GCSE in English, Mathematics, and Science&nbsp; &bull;The ability to problem solve and think outside of the box&nbsp;
